Summit will review current Company security policies, procedures and best practices, prior to conducting any assessment, to acquire pertinent information for use as a benchmark during the assignment. Information to be supplied by the company for review includes: location names, contact and address data, hours of operation, management rosters and staff schedules.  Also, to the degree available, review of internal and external Loss Incident histories would be beneficial.

Camera System Review

Summit will conduct a comprehensive review of each location's Security Camera System, including:

  • DVR
  • Cameras
  • Power Supply
  • Cabling
  • Monitors
  • Switchers
  • Multiplexers
  • Lenses
  • Light Levels

Physical Security Inspection

Summit will conduct a physical security inspection of each location focusing on: alarm systems, internal and external lighting, vault features, censored door controls, access control devices, parking lots, CPTED and other physical security features and devices.

Review Procedural Controls

Summit will conduct a thorough review of all procedural security and loss prevention controls at each location including: vault control procedures for capacity limits, shipments, access and security; teller cash controls, handling, verifications and oversight; management duties and responsibilities and other aspects of policy and procedure design, implementation and compliance.

Loss Incident Review

Summit will perform an internal and external Loss Incident review of significant and/or frequently occurring issues at each location with a focus on: current unresolved situations, procedural compliance implications, pattern identification, and management response practices, including accurate documentation, timely communication and other pertinent and appropriate duties.

Information-Gathering Interviews

Summit will perform information-gathering interviews with management and employees at each location with a specific focus on: loss prevention training and awareness, procedural compliance and any pertinent concerns or suspicions that impact overall safety and security. Information obtained during the interviews will not be acted on during the assessment without specific, prior consent of the client and such activity is not included in this agreement.

Assessment Finding Report

Summit will summarize all information obtained during each assessment and produce an individual written report of the Assessment Findings for each location, along with specific Recommendations for responding to identified security threats and/or enhancing the current security situation.

Security Assessment Documentation

Summit will prepare and furnish a Comprehensive Security Assessment document, identifying and prioritizing the current security vulnerabilities for the Shared Branches.  Recommendations for responding to the issues identified, or enhancing the current operations will be included in this document.

Additional Service Options

Summit will deliver the Comprehensive Security Assessment information to a designated audience for review, questions and answers at the request of the client.

Upon client approval, Summit will perform Opening and/or Closing Surveillance of any location determined prior to the announced assessment date to obtain additional operation information.  Any surveillance conducted will be thoroughly documented in a written report.

Upon client approval, Summit will acquire CAP Index "mapping" for any or all locations to be interpreted and reviewed with the client. All CAP Index materials will become property of the client after the information review with Summit.  Summit will charge for the exact cost billed by CAP Index for their services.
