Summit Loss Prevention Consulting provides loss prevention services for financial

overview of some recommended introductory services as part of Financial
Institution Loss Prevention Security & Safety Assessment:
Summit will review current Company security policies, procedures and best practices,
prior to conducting any assessment, to acquire pertinent information for
use as a benchmark during the assignment. Information to be supplied by
the company for review includes: location names, contact and address
data, hours of operation, management rosters and staff schedules. Also,
to the degree available, review of internal and
external Loss Incident histories would be beneficial.
Camera System Review
Summit will conduct a comprehensive review of each location's Security Camera System,

- Light Levels
- Surge Suppression
- Access Codes
- Digital Data Storage
- Camera Placement
- Camera Angles
- Other Critical Features
Physical Security Inspection
Summit will conduct a physical security inspection of each location focusing on:
alarm systems, internal and external lighting, vault features, censored
door controls, access control devices, parking lots, CPTED and other
physical security features and devices.
Review Procedural Controls
Summit will conduct a thorough review of all procedural security and loss prevention
controls at each location including: vault control procedures for
capacity limits, shipments, access and security; teller cash controls,
handling, verifications and oversight; management duties and
responsibilities and other aspects of policy and procedure design,
implementation and compliance.
Loss Incident Review
Summit will perform an internal and external Loss Incident review of significant and/or
frequently occurring issues at each location with a focus on:
current unresolved situations, procedural compliance implications,
pattern identification, and management response practices, including
accurate documentation, timely communication and other pertinent and
Summit will perform information-gathering interviews with management and employees at
each location with a specific focus on: loss prevention training and
awareness, procedural compliance and any pertinent concerns or
suspicions that impact overall safety and security. Information
obtained during the interviews will not be acted on during the
assessment without specific, prior consent of the client and such
activity is not included in this agreement.
Assessment Finding Report
Summit will summarize all information obtained during each assessment and produce an
individual written report of the Assessment Findings for each location,
along with specific Recommendations for responding to identified
security threats and/or enhancing the current security situation.
Security Assessment Documentation
Summit will prepare and furnish a Comprehensive Security Assessment document,
identifying and prioritizing the current security vulnerabilities for
the Shared Branches. Recommendations for responding to the issues
identified, or enhancing the current operations will be included in this
Additional Service Options
Summit will deliver the Comprehensive Security Assessment information to a designated audience
for review, questions and answers at the request of the client.
Upon client approval, Summit will perform Opening and/or Closing
Surveillance of any location determined prior to the announced
assessment date to obtain additional operation information. Any
surveillance conducted will be thoroughly documented in a written report.
Upon client approval, Summit will acquire CAP Index "mapping" for any or all
locations to be interpreted and reviewed with the client. All CAP Index
materials will become property of the client after the information
review with Summit. Summit will charge for the exact cost billed by CAP
Index for their services.
